Whether you are relocating to Ho Chi Minh City, moving from another school, or planning ahead for the next academic year, we will guide your family through each step. Our goal is to understand your child as an individual and help you feel confident that ISHCMC is the right fit.
ISHCMC accepts applications throughout the year, subject to availability.
Make an Inquiry
Begin by completing our enquiry form or contacting the Admissions team. We will learn more about your family, your child’s current school, intended start date, and any questions you may have about ISHCMC.
Visit ISHCMC
We encourage families to experience ISHCMC through a school tour, Open Day, or Virtual Tour. This is an opportunity to explore our campuses, meet our Admissions team, learn about the IB curriculum, and see how our community supports students from Early Explorers through Grade 12.
Submit Your Application
Complete the online application form and upload the required supporting documents. Our Admissions team is available to guide you through this stage and answer any questions along the way.
Assessment & Interview
After we receive your application, we will arrange an age-appropriate assessment and interview to help us understand your child’s learning profile, academic potential, and support needs. For families applying from outside Vietnam, remote assessments can be arranged where appropriate.
Receive an Offer
Once the application review is complete, our Admissions team will contact your family with the outcome. If a place is offered, we will guide you through accepting the offer, completing enrollment documents, and confirming your child’s place at ISHCMC.
Confirm Enrollment & Prepare to Join
To finalize your child’s place, families will complete the required enrollment documents and arrange payment. Once enrollment is confirmed, our team will share orientation details, school communications, campus information, and everything you need to prepare for your child’s first day.
What You’ll Need to Apply
Our Admissions team will guide your family through the application requirements. These help us understand each student’s learning profile, readiness, and support needs.
Required Documents: Previous school reports, recommendation forms, health records, and a student passport copy.
Assessment: Early Years and Primary applicants may complete play-based or readiness activities. Secondary applicants may complete evaluations and interviews.
Age Placement: ISHCMC follows international age placement standards for each grade level.
Students who require English language support may be considered for our Language Enrichment & Acceleration Pathway, also known as LEAP.
