ISHCMC is proud to be the first IB World School in Ho Chi Minh City and is fully accredited by the most prestigious international accreditation organizations. The accreditation of ISHCMC by external bodies assures your community allows us to ensure that we meet and exceed the minimum standards of quality and practice across all domains of school life. It also ensures that we deliver an academic program to the highest standards.

Accreditations

The Council of International Schools (CIS) which currently involves 735 schools representing 116 countries, is an international school accreditation agency that provides schools with accreditation services focused on learning, well-being, and global citizenship. The quality and rigor of a CIS International Accreditation is recognized by ministries, departments of education, and universities around the world as a demonstration of a school’s commitment to high-quality international education. The New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) is an independent, voluntary, nonprofit membership organization which partners with over 1500 public, independent, and international schools in the US and worldwide to assess, support, and promote high quality education for all students through accreditation, professional assistance, and pursuit of best practices. NEASC aspires to provide a process for meaningful, ongoing whole school improvement while honoring the unique culture and context of each institution we support. Authorization

 

As an authorized IB World School ISHCMC is accredited to offer three IB programmes:

  • The Primary Years Programme (PYP)
  • The Middle Years Programme (MYP)
  • The Diploma Programme (DP)

 

The International Baccalaureate® (IB) offers a continuum of international education through challenging, high quality educational programmes to students aged 3 to 19. The IB programmes encourage both personal development and academic achievement by challenging students to think critically, to ask the right questions and think across disciplines. The IB education also fosters diversity, curiosity and a health appetite for learning.

SEASAC exists to support International schools in South-East Asia in achieving their educational goals. Principal / Teacher Training Center (PTC and TTC)

The PTC serves the unique professional development needs of practicing and aspiring principals, teachers, counselors, admissions personnel and governance members in international schools worldwide. We strive to provide world class, research-driven, practical training, designed to be put into practice in the international school setting.
