Due to expansion, the International School of Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) is currently looking for two more 'Energized, Engaged and Empowered' educators to join our Early Years and Upper Primary teaching teams for the 2017-18 school year.

The successful candidates will be open minded, put students first, have a thirst for learning and willingness to collaboratively seek ways to push pedagogical boundaries.

At ISHCMC we are rethinking the traditional education system and welcome applications from excellent practitioners interested in being part of this ISHCMC journey. While two years of teaching is required, experience in the PYP is preferred, but not essential.

Substitute/Supply Teacher Openings

The International School of Ho Chi Minh City (ISHCMC) is currently looking for 'Energized, Engaged and Empowered' substitute teachers available for occasional teaching for the 2017-18 school year.

The successful candidates will be flexible, put students first and have a thirst for learning and willingness to work in an innovative and collaborative work environment. At ISHCMC we are rethinking the traditional education system and welcome applications from excellent practitioners interested in being part of this ISHCMC journey. A valid teaching license is required and thorough background checks will occur.

We maintain a list of experienced, qualified teachers for substitute and replacement teaching in both Primary and Secondary Schools.
The successful candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Bachelor of Science, or equivalent;
  • A valid teaching certificate (or equivalent);
  • Recent successful teaching experience at IB international schools.
Opportunities in Asia

As a member of the Asia Executive Team, the Director of Education will actively support the strategic direction and overall educational performance of the business. This will be achieved by providing guidance and support to Heads of School and ensuring a culture of teaching excellence exists throughout our organisation.
