PYP Completion 2020

In Head of School address, Mr. Adrian Watts said, “Studio 5 marks an important transition point along your educational pathway.” After the summer break, Mr. Watts comments, “When you return in August, you will not only be known as Grade 6 but also the Class of 2027” followed by, “We were already living in a fast-changing world thanks to technology, then came along COVID-19”.

Mr. Watts’ closing remarks encouraged students to think about their future, “People talk about a new normal in which everyone, no matter how old or young is facing new challenges. Many people older than you are less skilled or equipped to deal with a new normal than you are. This is a great opportunity for you to be the initiates of change. To challenge conventional thinking. To look at things from a different lens and to create new pathways for yourselves into the future.”
