House Intramural Programme

ISHCMC offers internal activities and intramural sports that are organized on a house basis.

The school has established four ‘houses’ or groups into which each student (Grades 2 to 12) is assigned. All students and teachers are assigned to the red house (Cobras), green house (Dragons), yellow house (Tigers) or blue house (Buffaloes), when they first enter the school. Competitions in various activities are held throughout the year and form a focus for intra-school activities.

House points are awarded through designed sporting and cultural activities, as well as for academic progress, citizenship, etc. A clear constitution for the house competition is given to elected high school and elementary school captains at the beginning of the school year.

The lunch intramural programme is organized for all students in grades 2 to 12. A variety of sports will be played throughout the year. All students are encouraged to support their House Team and participate.

Swim Galas

All sections at ISHCMC enjoy a day in the pool competing against the other houses in different strokes and activities.
