School Exhibitions

Visual Arts Exhibitions
There are a number of events organized during the year to exhibit the work of students.  These included the Annual Arts Exhibitions with works of students from Early Explorer to Grade 12 and the IB Art Exhibition, the culminating Exhibition of the examination work of our senior students.

The PYP Exhibition
Students in Grade 5 undertake a Project each year.  They decide on the topic and their final collective work is shown at an “exhibition” that includes mounted and digital displays and a performing art’s presentation.

This week is the PYP Exhibition. The students worked together to develop the  Central Idea ‘We can express ourselves through the arts’ under the transdiscipinary theme How We Express Ourselves.  The grand opening is on Monday at 6:30pm and the Grade 5 parents, mentors and special guests are invited to attend. Grade 4 parents are invited to visit the PYP Exhibition with their children on Wednesday at 8:10am. On Tuesday afternoon we have invited the students from AIS to visit and see our work. Students and teachers from Early Explorers through to the High School will also be visiting on Tuesday and Wednesday. Members of the ISHCMC community are also welcome to visit on Tuesday and Wednesday.

A big thank you to the parents, students, the Grade 5 teaching team, mentors,  staff across the school and experts for working together to make this year’s PYP Exhibition a success.
