Grade 8 Graduation Dinner

 

Our Grade 8 students filled us with pride during their Grade 8 Graduation Evening. Firstly, the planning and organization of this event is student- led and the skills these individuals utilized ensured that we all shared a great night. The theme, inspired by Glee, reflected the students’ perspectives of life in Middle School, but more specifically their final year in our section. The evening included well-prepared, thoughtful speeches, musical items, photographic memories, etc. We thank Mr Dinh for his address to our audience. I would also like to acknowledge the leadership of Mr Jensen, Ms Charbonneau, and Ms Lovig for their inspiration in working with the students involved in the Grade 8 Graduation Committee. At this time of the year, I am always reminded that the interactions outside my office will not be the same again, as each cohort of individuals brings their own energy to the grade level, from year to year.
