Counsellor's Welcome

 I would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students. The Counselling Department works closely with individual teachers and in group meetings to ensure that the students at each grade level receive the information and support they need to cope with the demands placed upon them.The services of a Counsellor are available to both students and parents at every grade level. A Counsellor is available for student counselling in the areas of academic, social and personal development as well as a variety of other needs as well.

Our students continue to be very successful in their choices of universities around the world. Students here follow a very competitive and rigorous academic programme that opens educational doors for them around the world. To assist them in their search, the school provides access to Family Connections which continues to be an extremely important asset when seeking post secondary educational opportunities. Counselling is now able to organize and send transcripts via Family Connections to well over 1000 universities in North America. Students receive counselling for, as well as information and assistance with the application process for university or other post-secondary career/educational opportunities. This includes information on testing using a variety of different tests, e.g.Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and American College Test (ACT), for which the school is a testing centre.
