Teacher's Day
In Vietnam, Teachers’ Day is a great festival. Not only teachers but students also are eager to welcome this occasion.
The first International Teachers’ Conference held in Warsaw in 1957 adopted the Teachers’ Charter. The conference also agreed to designate 20 th November as International Teachers’ Day. The Day was first observed in Vietnam one year later and since 1982, 20th November has also been observed in Vietnam as the Day of Vietnamese Teachers. This is the occasion to highlight the important role of teachers in social development.
