Welcome to ISHCMC library
The Library provides an important resource centre for Junior School through to High School students, their teachers and the wider community. A variety of subject-related materials, reference sources, works of fiction and periodicals are available, together with CD ROM, online databases and internet facilities. Access/borrowing
The Library is open Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 4pm. It is a place to read, research or relax with a book. During the recess break only Middle School (MS) and High School (HS) students have access, while all students from grades 2-12 have access at lunchtime.
All Junior School and Elementary School classes have regular weekly Library visits, with Grades EE4-2 taking part in Library lessons led by the Librarian or the Library Assistants.
When can my child borrow?
Note: Library sessions and borrowing access for Junior School (JS) and Elementary School (ES) students will commence in the week starting 23rd August. JS and grade 2 students require a bag to borrow books.
MS and HS students may borrow individually from 16th August. They do not require a bag, although it is a good idea.
The library team looks forward to talking with you about your needs and will help you in any way we can.
