Head of High School Welcome Message
There are currently 254 students in the High School which runs from Grade 9 to12. In Grades 9 and 10 the students follow the last two years of the IB Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) which prepares them for the IB Diploma (IBDP) in Grades 11 and 12. You can find out more on these programmes on our curriculum pages or visit the IB website at www.ibo.orgThey are supported and encouraged by a team of 43 well qualified teachers from all around the world. There is a College Counsellor to guide students with their university applications and preparation for SAT's. All students are monitored by their Homeroom Teachers who are the first point of contact for parents. We see parents as partners on the learning journey and regular effective communication is always a key goal.
The Parent Teacher Organization is an active group that promotes events to bring the community together.
To support the delivery of the curriculum all students in the High School have been provided with a tablet pc. Combined with a wireless campus and our Online Learning Centre (OLC) students, parents and teachers have a mutual platform on which to share curriculum material, marking assignments and to view grades.
In addition, we have a wide range of After School Activities that allows students to pursue hobbies, develop skills in sports and get involved in serving the community. We have an energetic sports programme with student teams travelling to competitions with other schools in this region.
If this is what you are looking for, fill in an application form now. We will test students on their English proficiency if needed, and make a check on their programme credits to ensure that they will be able to graduate from our school. An interview will normally take place with the Head of High School to ensure correct placement in classes.
Thank you for visiting our website. I hope it is intuitive for you and that you can find the information you want easily. Please feedback to us if there is anything we can do to make this site more effective.
