Tuition Fee

New Student enrolment - fees for academic year 2010 - 2011

One Time Application / Registration Fee

This fee covers the costs of administrative procedures necessary for processing student applications; including student interviews, English language testing (if required), reviewing academic history, placement in grades and classes, allocation of subjects and timetabling.  The Registration Fee is paid at the time of application and is not refundable.

IT Laptop Fee

The “IT Laptop Fee” applied to all students who receive a laptop/tablet from the school and is payable annually. This helps to cover the ongoing expenses related to a world class technology programme.

Annual Tuition Fee

The annual tuition fee is the fee payable for a specifically designed, structured curriculum. The fee includes the costs of other student benefits (including morning tea, the hiring of sporting facilities, daily drinking water; and for those that need it, English language assistance).  These fees also pay for the day-to-day costs of running the school, including teacher and other staff costs, administration and maintenance.

Annual Development Fee (ADF)

The ADF is compulsory for each student in Grades 1-12 unless a COE has been purchased and allocated to a particular student.  The ADF is compulsory for newly enrolling students in grades 11&12 (unless an existing COE is owned by the parent/company and is available for transfer to the newly enrolling student). The Annual Development Fee for the 2010-2011 academic year is set at $3,000.

Certificates of Entitlement (COE’s)

COE’s are lump sum payment, currently set at $15,000 per student, that operate as “pseudo” bonds.  COE’s are assets, and each COE entitles the holder to the placement of one child in the school.  Because the school is experiencing increased demand in certain grades, and because this has led to waiting pools being implemented, (meaning that the school is unable to guarantee placement in certain grades), the school is restricting the acquisition of COE’s to certain grades.  Currently, COE’s are only available for students moving into, or newly enrolling into grades 1-10.  If you would like to know more information about the COE system, please contact the school Administration Office or Business Office.
