Stationery and text book information
Stationery is provided to all students from EE2 – Grade 5. Students from Grade
6 – Grade 12 are supplied with a list of stationery requirements. The

and High School Stationery is available in the pavillion area, underneath our
new Designed Technology Rooms (previously canteen).
Text books are supplied by the School for all students from EE2 – Grade 12.
Uniform information per grade levels
All students wear a uniform. Uniforms are sold on the 2nd floor of the
Early Explorers 2yrs & 3yrs need 3 day uniforms and a hat
Early Explorers 4yrs – Grade 12 need 3 day uniforms ; 2 PE uniforms ; a school
hat
Boys uniform: White Polo Shirt and Blue Shorts
Girls uniform: White Polo Shirt and a Skourt (looks like a skirt
but is shorts)
Senior students: Navy Blue Polo Shirt instead of a White Polo Shirt
PE uniform: Blue and White T Shirt and Blue and White
Sports Shorts
Shoes:
All students wear their own white sports shoes with white socks

Actual class sizes: EE2 to EE4 have up to 18 students ; KG & Grade 1 up to
20 students ; Gr 2 to Gr 12 can have up to 20 – 24 students

Teacher Assistant Information
All teacher assistants at ISHCMC have a BA in English; 18 also have a Teaching
Certifi cate; 4 have a Cambridge International Teacher and Trainer Diploma. As
a policy of employment for the position of teacher assistant, all Teacher
Assistants had previous teaching experience prior to being employed with
ISHCMC.
The teaching assistants support teaching and learning in Junior and Elementary
classrooms as well as in Music, Art and Physical Education.
Student Withdrawal
Written notice of an intention to withdraw a student from the school is
required.
On receipt of a letter giving notice, a “Notice of Withdrawal Form” will be
issued to the student. The form should be signed and returned by the
parent(s) to the Coordinator of Admissions and Marketing. In the Middle and
High School the student will be expected to get this form signed by the
relevant teachers on the return of all books and materials.
Parents will be expected to settle all outstanding dues on fees or other
school expenses e.g. lost or damaged materials, fieldtrips etc. prior to the
departure of the student. School reports and records will only be
released after all financial obligations have been met.
In cases where special letters of attendance or particular documentation is
required for transfer to another school a written request for these should be
submitted to the Counsellor with at least three weeks notice.
